KOTA KINABALU: There is enough food supply to go round for the upcoming Kaamatan and Hari Raya celebrations.

The public should be rest assured that there are enough supplies of food and controlled goods to go round for the coming festive season. MDTCA enforcement officers have been conducting inspections daily, not only on wholesalers but also on supermarkets, wet markets and now, on Ramadan bazaars as well. We have found that there is adequate supply of essential items, said MDTCA Sabah director Georgie Abas.
He said this during a press conference after inspecting wholesalers, Pemborong C-Care Enterprise Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Hiap Fong Sdn Bhd and cooking oil re-packer Syarikat Lian Soon Ei Sdn Bhd at the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) yesterday. The purpose of the inspection was to monitor and ensure that there is adequate supply for the festive season.
